Artix Entertainment has officially confirmed that we’re getting closer to the cross-platform AQW: Infinity, a modernized version of the long-running MMORPG coming to PC and mobile devices. The project will support full account carryover, allowing existing players to keep all progress, gear, and classes.
Originally launched in 2008 as a browser-based MMO, AdventureQuest Worlds has maintained an active community for more than a decade through weekly updates and live events. AQW: Infinity represents the game’s most significant evolution to date, moving beyond browser limitations while preserving its original art style and core gameplay.
AQW: Infinity Modernizes the Classic MMO
According to Artix Entertainment, AQW: Infinity is not a sequel but a technical and visual overhaul designed to make the game accessible across platforms. The studio has emphasized that the project will retain AQW’s iconic look while delivering improved performance and long-term support on modern hardware.
The game is now live on Steam and available to wishlist. While no release date has been announced, Artix Entertainment confirmed that more details will be shared in the coming months.
Most notably, veteran players will be able to log in using their existing AdventureQuest Worlds accounts, ensuring that previously earned items, classes, and story progress remain intact.
